Benefits, credits and financial support: CRA and COVID-19
Financial support is available to Canadians during the COVID-19 pandemic, including new benefits and credits and changes to existing ones. You may be eligible for support via other financial programs.The CRA encourages Canadians to file their tax returns by June 1, 2020 or as soon as possible in order to receive the right amount of benefits based on their 2019 tax return, and in order to ensure continuity of benefits beyond September 2020. Allow up to 5 business days after the scheduled benefit or credit payment date before calling us.
